National ISMO Math Competition

Prize Distribution Ceremony of 12^th National ISMO for Lahore region was held at PakTurk International Schools & Colleges Lahore Main Campus on Saturday 28^th January. Over 3000 students participated. Attractive cash prizes in addition to plaques and certificates were given to top position holders.

1^st position holders from each 5, 6, 7 and 8 class students got a cash prize of Rs.10 000/- each. 2^nd position holders from each 5, 6, 7 and 8 class students got a cash prize of Rs.7000/- each. 3^rd position holders from each 5, 6, 7 and 8 class students got a cash prize of 5000/- each. Moreover, top 20 position holders in each category also got attractive prizes. Math’s teachers and the heads of institutions were also awarded.

                         Mr. Anjum Mehmood Butt, the famous philanthropist, Member Board of Directors PakTurk Schools and

Mr. Rana Asad Ullah Khan, Secretary Lahore High Court Bar Association were the guests of honour for this ceremony.

They gave away the prizes to the top positions holders and their teachers. Later, the guests of honour were presented with the shields by Mr. Aslam Bhatti, the Director Education PakTurk Schools Lahore.

Our four students came in top 20 positions in ISMO Math competition,

1)  Saad Malik            Grade 5,     12^th Position,            Rs. 1000/ -

2)  Inayah Israr          Grade 6,     13^th Position,            Rs. 1000/ -

3)  Kerui Hu                Grade 6,     12^th Position,            Rs. 1000/ -

4)  Ahsan Malik         Grade 8,       5^th Position,             Rs. 2500/ -

Mr. Nathan our SLC was also honored on stage and also asked to give prizes to the group of students.
