NGO Door of Awareness Project

ISC- Lahore maintains fantastic links with the NGO Door of Awareness project.

Established in 2007, Door of Awareness is winning over the hearts of everyone at ISC-Lahore; it is an nonprofit organization that aim to create opportunities for the underprivileged students of rural and urban areas of Pakistan while also committed to enhancing education and technical skills of the children by strengthening their intellectual capabilities and training them to be competent, ethical and socially responsible citizens of Pakistan. Our adopted center, center 7 has been making inroads with the education of young people that otherwise wouldn’t have a chance, close to our school here in Lahore.

 We decided to further these children’s knowledge by sending our Shadow Teachers^® to teach Math and English in the center on Saturday mornings, it has been such an enriching experience for both the children of the DOW center and the students of ISC-Lahore.

Furthermore some staff and students sponsor these children so they can continue to come to this center and learn in a safe environment while also being provided with a meal.
